Onset Bay Inn

When my office sat down to discuss future layoffs, we all decided to take a pay cut so that we could all keep our jobs. We came up with a list of things to do as a whole that would help us all stay employed. One of the maintenance workers suggested that he shop around for janitorial products companies that could save us some money. He showed us the amount that we were spending in cleaning supplies every month and we were all shocked.

I suggested that we all try and conserve energy by turning off all the lights and computers at the end of the day, or when we were not using them like right now when we were all sitting in the board room and all of our offices lights were on and our computers and printers.

The maintenance worker came back the next month to show all of us how much we had started to save by switching to a new cheaper janitorial products company that he had found, we were all happy. We were buying the same exact cleaning supplies for about half of the money as before.

I also had a copy of our latest electric bill and we had saved twenty percent over our bill from the previous month by turning off lights and computers when we did not need them. It looked like our plans were working to save money and jobs.
