As well as personal expression, the clothes one chooses to wear can be an unintended window into their lifestyle. From rock stars to hipsters to divas to the blue-collar worker, everyone has a look. In each category it may not appear the same, but from what an individual wears it is likely that one could guess as to the life they lead.
Rock stars might spend lots of money on what they wear. Perhaps they wear Gucci. Divas might also wear Gucci clothing. You could probably tell by looking at either a man or a woman dressed like this and be able to tell they probably lead an expensive or high-class life.
A blue-collar worker probably would not spend so much money on clothing. It just wouldn’t be all that practical. Even if they have a few expensive pairs of Gucci shoes, they surely would not have many. And it would be rare to see a blue-collar worker out on the town wearing it.
This may seem like to much of a stereotype, but it is only the truth. This is not a cruel, lump, categorization. People dress according to their lifestyle. That’s a fact. Just because someone isn’t able to afford Gucci does not make them less of a human being. A person’s style is initially a good judge of where they might be coming from, but not necessarily of who they are.
