I was rather proud of my father for buying used cisco products instead of the new ones that the cisco repair man tried to get him to buy. I could not believe the price difference in the two and was glad that my father decided to shop around for the best deals. Out of the used cisco products, he saved himself one hundred and fifty dollars.

I think that the cisco repair man probably would have been happy to have found them for my dad but he would have added some cost on the top and the savings would not have been so big. I think that people think it must be a hassle to fine used parts and just leave the task to the repair man. I would rather spend a few minutes on the phone or the computer and save myself some money. I think that my father actually spent about fifteen minutes on the internet locating the used cisco parts, and he saved a ton of money for fifteen minutes of work.

I have started offering the service of finding used computer parts for seniors since they might be the first to just leave the job to the repair man. I believe that they are probably at the top of the list for people who get taken advantage of by salesmen and repairmen.
