As a former recipient of life insurance, I understand the importance of having one in place. I lost my loved one and without the term life insurance I would have been in financial hardship to say the least. No one likes to have to use life insurance or even think about it, but when it is needed it is a very beneficial thing to have.

Term life insurance is sold for a particular amount of time or for a particular term. If we would not have had it at the time, I do not know where I would be today. When we purchased the no medical life insurance policy a few years prior I remember thinking that it was a waste of money and that we would never need it.

Now I understand the importance of term life insurance and I encourage everyone to shop around and find the best insurance policy for them. I could not believe the medical expenses and the funeral costs. They were ridiculous and I really do not see how anyone without life insurance could afford to pay for them.

Now I see why Doctors and medical facilities are so rich, they charge a fortune for treatments and cures. The funeral bills were expected and I actually racked those up a little but I wanted a nice funeral. Life insurance made it easier to get over this tragedy and for me to move on with my life.
