A Better Work Place with Retractable Awnings
Our office is not properly designed. The windows are very big that we get more than enough sunlight and heat every day. It is sometimes distracting and irritating. As a manager, I want to give my employees a conducive place to work in, also in order for them to give me the quality of work and output I am asking from them.
I asked a friend who is an interiors designer if I have an alternative, other than totally rebuilding our office. He said that I have plenty. But as a designer, he suggested that I purchase drop curtains, and have them installed in each of the windows. These curtains are different from the ordinary ones as the former can block more heat and light than the latter. Or I can also have retractable awnings, which are thicker and is installed from the outside.
Knowing that I actually have a number of alternative which are cheaper than totally rebuilding our office, I was relieved. The installation will start the week after next or even earlier. Our office is up for a good change
